A Few Options for Christmas Tree Disposal
Sadly, the Christmas season has come and gone yet again. It never
seems quite long enough for me. However, once this wonderful holiday
season passes many are left wondering what to do with the now half
dead tree standing in your living room. You already have the daunting
task of taking off the ornaments while not getting stabs by now stiff
needles from the quickly drying tree so here are your options once it is
bare and taken outside of your home.
- City of Springdale - From Monday January 6th to Friday January 24th
the City of Springdale Public Works Department will pick up your
Christmas Tree from the curb. Simply call 750-8135 to schedule your
pick up.
- Lake Elmdale - Drop off at the boat ramp access.
- Beaver Lake - Take to the Highway 12 Access and AGFC Don Roufa
Hwy 412 Access
- Benton County Solid Waste District - Trees may be dropped off at
5702 Brookside Road in Bentonville and 3511 North Arkansas Street in
Rogers.
On a side note we will be leaving ours up as long as I can convince my
beautiful wife to allow it to stay. I enjoy it and it makes me happy. Hope
you've had an excellent start to 2020.
