Downtown Springdale has seen it's share of coming and going over the last few years, but one establishment that seems to have taken hold is Mr. Taco Loco. We've been there on a number of occasions and to this point we haven't had a bad experience yet. While there always seems to be a steady flow of traffic the wait is never very long and the food has been delicious.
I feel like we have a variety of quality options as it pertains to Mexican food in Springdale and I can say without a doubt that the Burrito Loco is one of my favorites at any establishment. It is a large tortilla filled with steak, mushrooms, onions and avocado. When complimented by their salsa bar it is a tough selection to beat. Amelia is always a fan of the Carne Asada tacos. She is quite the afficianado in that field and she assures me they're some of the best she has had. They have daily and weekly specials and are very active on their Facebook page if you are try to see what they offer and what specials they are running that day.
Mr. Taco Loco has became a staple for those living in Downtown as a walkable place who then stop in at The Odd Soul or Emma Avenue Bar and Tap for a drink or take in a show at the Arts Center of the Ozarks. So if you are looking for a place Downtown stop by and try them out. You'll be glad you did. Just make sure you don't miss out on the salsa bar.
