Live Springdale

For the first time since 2007 the Arkansas Teacher of the Year award has made its way back to Springdale. Joel Lookadoo spent his first 6 years as a math teacher in the district at Lakeside Junior High. This year is his first as an instructional facilitator at the Don Tyson School of Innovation. Lookadoo, a 2008 graduate of Shiloh Christian, holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master's Degree from Arkansas State University. He is married and has two children who are 1 and 4. This is an outstanding honor for our city and our school district. Congratulations on a job well done Joel.
