Nursing home patients are in a touch spot right now. They always love
to have visitors and see family, but given the COVID-19 outbreak it is
too great a risk to allow people inside the facilities. Many of us have
seen the photos of husbands, wives or grown children talking to or
hanging out with their family members through windows and such just
to get a moment to spend with them. The Rotary Club of Springdale
had their own idea.
From Rotary Club Of Springdale Facebook:
With novel viruses come novel opportunities in the community! Today
we delivered 50 tablets to six different long-term care facilities in
Springdale - these will be used by residents to stay in touch with their
families and alleviate some of the boredom they're experiencing due to
decreased social interaction. These tablets were purchased by the
Springdale Rotary Charitable Trust with matching funds from local
corporate partner Quadrivium. Thank you to Rotarian Jessica Ann Darst
for the idea, to the Board for its support, and to Clinton Bell for his
generosity on behalf of Quadrivium!

We are thankful to have such Civic minded individuals as the Rotarians
in our community. Clinton is a friend and a newly elected member of
the Springdale School Board as well as a servant in many areas
throughout our community. Thanks for being one of the helpers Clinton.
