I have long joked that Mr. Billie is the most well-known man in
Springdale. He has welcomed and greeted entire generations for
decades to Walmart and now Sam's Club. A little over a year ago I
have the honor of meeting his sweet wife Mrs. Eula, who also still works
at the Immanuel Clinic. What a tremendous love story and a testament
to the impact that two people can have on an entire community. This
Sunday they will celebrate 60 years of marriage. An honor afforded to
so few.
Billie and Eula Adkins of Springdale will celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary at a drop-in reception from Noon to 3pm on Sunday, February 9, 2020. Join them at the Springdale First Assembly of God Church at 1605 West Robinson Avenue.
Billie Adkins and Eula Faye Rochelle were married February 9, 1960 in Leadville, Colorado. They have two children, Brenda Clinton and husband Rocky of Springdale and the late Bernie Adkins of Colorado; four grandchildren, Tiffany Jetton and husband Brandon, Jake Adkins and wife Adriel, Jana Pittman and Joseph Adkins; and 6 great-grandchildren, Madison, Connor, Hunter, Brooklyn, Ashlyn and Tobin.
